Announcing our 8th Annual Chamber Music Festival from August 16-21, 2021 in-person!
Our Summer Chamber Festival provides our students as well as students from outside our program with an intensive experience both in their solo repertoire and in chamber music. The festival has tripled in size since it’s opening in 2010 and is open to violinists, violists, cellists and pianists ages 6 through 18.

The festival welcomes violinists, violists, cellists and pianists ages 6-18. The festival provides our students with individualized attention and an intensive chamber music experience throughout the week, and is located in Manhasset, Long Island. Students will be placed in chamber groups according to their age and level. Students will also participate in private and semi-private lessons, and receive daily coachings and lessons from our esteemed faculty. We look forward to several guest artists joining us and providing our students with masterclasses in both chamber music and solo repertoire throughout the week.
On Wednesday evening we will have our annual pizza party (this time outside in the courtyard) with all our participating festival students and faculty. Following the pizza party, selected chamber music groups will perform in a masterclass for a guest artist.
The festival will culminate in two separate performances. Friday evening, August 20, will feature performances by all our chamber music groups. On Saturday, August 21, we will showcase our students in performances of their solo repertoire.
The Artist Program Summer Chamber Music Festival will follow all protocols and suggested Covid-19 guidelines to keep our students and faculty safe throughout the week. We have already made some curriculum adjustments and have decided to move away from our larger ensembles this summer and focus primarily on smaller chamber music groups and private/semi-private lessons to ensure fewer kids in each room at a time. As we move closer to the summer, we will provide updates here on our website and inform our enrolled students of any specifics needed to attend the festival. We will make every possible effort to keep our students safe throughout our wonderful week of in-person music making together.
In past years we have invited family and friends to join us for our masterclasses, concerts, and annual pizza party. We sincerely hope we can continue these traditions with our festival this summer.
We will follow the CDC guidelines for our festival this summer and will continue to update our safety requirements for attending the festival here on this page. All of our faculty will be fully vaccinated and we strongly recommend that any elligble festival participants recieve their full vaccinations before attending the festival.
Tuition for the festival is $725 per person (or $675 per person if registered and paid in full by June 15, 2021).
Families registering 2 or more siblings can subtract 5% from the total registration.
Participation in all 6 days is required. Scholarships available.
